Outlook 2007 and Norton AntiSpam

Norton AntiSpam is displayed on the toolbar but the filter buttons are not highlighted for use. What can I do please?

Hi Rosalind!

First:

We need to know the Norton product you are using with your Outlook 2007 installation...  NIS?  360?

Second:

We need to know the version of the Norton product you're using...  v19?  v20?  v21?

Third (and this is only an observation about Norton Emps):

Why was this post moved to this forum?  It's rather obvious that it does not belong here.  Its being here is no fault of the poster since it was moved here by Gayathri_R from its original (and proper) posting location in the Norton Internet Security / Norton AntiVirus forum.  Is it that Norton Emps not know the difference between the Norton Anti-Spam toolbar for Microsoft Outlook and the Norton Identity Safe toolbar for supported web browsers?

Kind regards,

John

So now you've moved it to the 360 forum...  Since the actual product has yet to be identified by the OP why do you think that it belongs here any more than it belongs in its original location in the NIS forum?

But thank you Gayathri_R  and Sunil_GA for confirming our suspicion that Norton Emps are more about hiding their own incompetency than about assisting their Norton customers.

To add to this poor poster's confusion, you also neglected to change the destination forum discription when you changed the original posting location's message URL from the ID Safe forum to the 360 forum...

Moved: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Outlook-2007-and-Norton-AntiSpam/m-p/1125300#U1125300

This post has been moved to 'Norton Toolbar / Norton Identity Safe' board for better exposure

I wonder where you might try hiding this poor person's post next?  Tech Outpost perhaps?  With any luck (for you) the hapless poster may never find their original posting nor any of the attempts made to assist them in their plight.

Shameful at best...

Kind regards,

John

Thanks, John - I'm using Norton 360 version 21.2.0.38, Outlook 2007 and Windows 7.
