I'm running Outlook 2010 64-bit and the Norton antispam add-in is listed as inactive. I checked about 8 months ago and was told Norton 360 Premier did not work with 64-bit version of Outlook 2010, but that it was being worked on. Does anyone have any news about the expected availability of Norton's antispam for the 64-bit version of Outlook 2010?
Thanks for the reply - however since the add-on does not work (disabled), non of my emails are marked with NORTON ANTISPAM. Therefore I don't see how your suggestion would work. Anything else?

Hello davis
Can you tell us the incoming protocol of your Email Account along with the port number?
Thanks
Kavitha

OK - Total 7 email accounts
Base account is pop/smtp on ports 995/25 secured SSL/TLS (pop.east.cox.net)
The above account is the required account for outlook to function - also has default calendar, contacts, tasks, etc.
Default send account is imap/smtp on ports 993/25 secured SSL/TLS (mail.[serverAname].com)
3 additional accounts are imap/smtp on ports 993/25 secured SSL/TLS (mail.[serverAname].com for 1 and pop.[serverBname].org for other 2)
All above accounts use my ISP smtp server as required by the ISP (smtp.east.cox.net)
and 2 more accounts are on msn.com and use Outlook Connector to send/receive
Hello davis
Norton still does not support scanning of SSL email ports. That's the reason why none of your Emails are not getting tagged with Norton Antispam.
Thanks
Kavitha
OK Thanks for the info. This makes 2 strikes against Norton Antispam. When will it work with 64-bit office and scan SSL? Did I waste my money buying this program?

Welcome,
I don't think you wasted your money. The few features that are unsupported are not used by the majority of computer users so have taken on a lower priority. What features in which version of Office did you want 360 to support?
Most everything now is still in 32-bit mode and it appears will stay that way for a while longer. When 64 bit becomes more popular and more pervasive I'm sure Symantec will be there to protect us
I wanted antispam to work in Outlook 64-bit (running on Win 7 64-bit OS). It does not work at all for 64-bit Office. And because I use SSL and TSL security, 360 will not check these at all for anything.
