I'm having issues with Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 since the Microsoft updates last week (11th September). I also updated NIS to the latest version on 10th September so can't be sure which updates have caused the issue - hence posting here.
Everything works fine - internet, NIS etc. until I open Outlook. It tries a send /receive email and fails at the read stage (all email details unchanged since before the upgrades). Then after this I have no internet connection in firefox or IE (i.e. they will not even open, or freeze if they are open), and also NIS will not open afterwards. I have to re-boot to get everthing working again. It also fails if I go into mail settings on the control panel, without opening outlook itself - so something to do with the office settings maybe?
I've tried opening outlook in safe mode (i.e. without NIS anti-spam add-on or any other add-ons) but it still fails. I've done a remove / reinstall of NIS but no difference. I cannot see any errors in the firewall log.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andrew
