Outlook 2013 users -- Has anyone made IE your default browser in Windows 10?

This thread pertains to anyone that is using Outlook 2013 in Windows 10 where the default browner has been changed from Edge to Internet Explorer..  If you have this configuration setup on your PC can you tell me if you're experiencing anything odd when you click on a link in an HTML-based email that is designed to open a web page?  There's a known bug in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 that even if you make IE your default browser, clicking on a link in an email will put up a prompt asking if you want to continue to open IE or if you'd rather open the Edge browner instead.  It'[s actually kind of a weird bug as it only occurs if IE is selected as your default browner.  If you use Edge, Chrome or Firefox as your default browser you don't get this prompt and the only fix for this problem is to create a registry value that will cause a new session of IE to open each time you click a new link in an email.  Since the Microsoft knowledge base (KB) article stated that the work around solution only pertained to Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 users I was wondering if Outlook 2013 users were experiencing the same behavior?  If you're using Outlook 2013 as your email client and have IE as your default browser in Windows 10 and you're not seeing a prompt each time you click on an email link, I may decide to upgrade my copy of Office to 2013 or to 2016 that's scheduled to be released this week as I'm almost 100% positive that Microsoft will not go in and make coding changes to Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 to fix this bug.  Please let me know.
