Outlook send/receive process fails with VPN turned on

Hello,

I am running Norton 360 on a Dell PC running with the latest maintenance for Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 Pro.

Outlook's send/receive process fails with VPN turned on. In the past I was able to resolve this issue when I added Outlook.exe to VPN Split Tunnel but now it no longer prevents this issue.

Outlook's send/receive process just recently started to fail again. Other then turning off VPN when I check my e-mails is there a solution?

I switch over to New Outlook and my VPN issue no longer occurs.
