Overlays clash with Backup?

I thought this had been raised before but a quick search on the forum does not seem to show it ... hence this new thread.

 

I use N360 for backups but have found that the overlays used with N360 to show what has been backed up and what has not, have not been working for some time.  I have made numerous attempts to get it working but failed.  I think this started to happen about the time I started using Norton Zone.

 

I raise it again now as it has come up again in the N360 forum in this thread.

 

It does appear that somehow Norton Zone overlays are clashing or blocking the N360 ones.  If anyone can prove that this is not the issue or in anyway resolve this issue I for one would be grateful.

 

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) and Norton 360 20.0.1.3.  Norton Zone 1.0.12.6.

 

If I may be able to provide any more useful information - just ask.

Hi Andmike, 

 

Thanks for bring this up. When you uninstalled Norton Zone, did the problems no longer presist? I'll forward this over to the Zone team and see if we can determine what the issue may be.

Thanks for coming back on this.  As for whether the problem went away when I uninstalled Zone .... I cannot remember but I think it did.  Don't want to uninstall Zone just at the moment so cannot check just now but if I can get around to it I will let you know what happens.
