I did a full scan and when it was over, I have gray boxes with white slashes on all my download icons.
How do I get rid of them?

I have the same problem - after an update and full scan, all my files have this overlay. Not just downloads, but every file on the computer. Would really like to get rid of them, hope someone has advice. It seems absolutely pointless to have these overlays. Is their only function to be annoying and intrusive?
These overlays are for the backup feature. Norton is aware of this issue of the overlays being displayed again, and will be reinstating the setting to control these overlays in a future update. No time frame given for this update.
