I have been having one heck of time with this packed.generic.200 virus! After studying on how to remove it, I downloaded avg, malware bytes, and super anti-spyware. These three found and destroyed the virus. And after, Norton did register it as being "removed." It even showed in my security history as being removed. Now the problem I have is that every time I start my computer I receive a pop-up window from Norton stating that I still have the virus. I have run many, many virus scans after, and Norton states my computer has no virus probem. But I keep getting this pop-up window that states the packed.generic.200 cannot be removed! I click on the scan again, then the help, and then receive a pop-up window from Norton that says all problems have been resolved. But the next time I start my computer, I get the pop-up stating packed.generic.200 cannot be removed. I'm really frustrated! I again, just today, ran all four virus scans... avg, malware bytes, super anti-spyware, and Norton... No virus was detected! So I removed avg, malware bytes, and super anti-spyware...thinking that these programs might be interferring with Norton, and restarted my computer. Guess what? That pop-up window from Norton came up again and stated that the packed.generic.200 failed to be removed! I've been told by a computer specialist that this is just a "false positive," and that the window will stop popping up in a few days. However, it has been two months! Please help me? What do I need to do?
