Parental lock - How to block just a part of a website?

Hi everybody!

I am a user of Norton 360 with Add-on pack and I have a problem with Parental lock rules. I would like to block just a part of some website because of it is a web catalogue which includes safe and unsafe parts. You can try by yourself how it´s easy to view explicit content at this site: (removed link). You just have to agree with a conditions (children can´t understand) by clicking OK and aftewards you can see a lot of pornographic pictures and links to various pornographic sites (just some of them are correctly blocked by parental lock when you click the link).
So I need to block just this explicit part of that site but I have no idea how to do that. Is it possible at all?
Thank you for your answers and solutions!

Hi diddo09!

Thank you for you answer. I have never heard about Norton Online Family. I tried it immediately and it´s really much better than Norton Parental Lock. Anyway it is not a solution because of it blocks more than one category. If I try to visit (removed link) like a children it shows me an option to block this site... but... when I do this it block(removed link)like a nearest domain name for this category. It means that I can´t acess for example news category which belongs to the same domain (removed link)
In this case I am looking for a solution because of www.seznam.cz is the best Czech internet catalogue and search engine and my children use it almost everyday.
I am still looking for an option to block specific adress like http://something.something/something
Thanks anyway!

Hi Vonik_cz,

Your question about blocking a part of a website is valid, but currently AddOn Pack supports only blocking of websites(eg: www.seznam.cz/) and not the urls (eg: www.seznam.cz/auto).

Let us know if this info was useful.

Thanks,

Padma

Hello Vonik,

I believe that the Norton Online Family is still in beta and they have a forum open for issues/suggestions/etc.  It can be accessed off of this Norton main webpage and navigate down to the Norton Online Family Public Beta forum or follow this link:  http://community.norton.com/norton/board?board.id=NOF_PB     No guarentees but it couldn't hurt to post a suggestion for what features you require as well as being in a place where everyone else has family members they are trying to protect and may have suggestions for you as well.

I don't think I have had the chance to speak to anyone from the Cz republic. It's a pleasure to communicate with you.

Take care,

Mumford68

Hi Vonik_cz,

If you are using the Internet Explorer as your browser, check the settings for Content Advisor. Sometimes, it can help you out in blocking the Web sites according to the ratings.

Hi yogesh_mohan!

Thank you for your post. It´s a great hint. Be sure I will try it soon.

Hi Padma,

thanks for your post. I accepted this like a solution because of I see there is no other way how to solve it in this moment.
Hope there will be an option how to block URLs in a near future. I´ll be waiting for it patiently.
