I guess you are having NTFS partitions on your drive which might be the cause of this issue.
As suggested in the online article, you can boot from Partition Magic bootdisk to make desired changes. If you have the Partition Magic installation CD, the same can be used to boot and make the partition changes. If you do not have that, create the Partition Magic Rescue Diskettes to boot the computer. Read Creating Rescue diskettes in PartitionMagic 7.0 for more information on this.

Correct, It is an NTFS partition.
I created the rescue diskettes as suggested and ran Partition Magic from them and it immediately came up with Error 108: "Partition doesn't end at end of cylinder" or "Bonus Head"
"This problem has been reported to Symantec Technical Support. At this time, we do not know the exact cause or contributing factors to this problem. We will update this document when new information or a solution is available."
The drive is a 500 Gig SATA. I am using the raid driver for the controller because the non-raid driver was corrupt on the provided mini-disk.
I can get the manufacturer and model of the SATA controller if it is needed.
Thanks,
Gary
