Performance alert

Hi,

I recently reformatted my laptop and decided to give Norton Internet Security a try. I'm a little overwhelmed with all the information that Norton is reporting and I don't quite understand it all. One thing is performance alerts, I received a few and I don't know how to interpret them. I read that performance alerts are more informational than an indication of an infection but how can I tell if it is something to be concerned about? For example I have received the following performance alerts thus far:

8/25/2013 12:10:05 AM,Info,High Memory usage by: Firefox ,Detected,No Action Required
8/22/2013 7:48:55 PM,Info,High Disk Read usage by: Windows Modules Installer ,Detected,No Action Required
8/22/2013 7:42:55 PM,Info,"High Disk Read, Disk Write usage by: Windows host process (Rundll32) ",Detected,No Action Required
8/22/2013 7:34:55 PM,Info,High Disk Write usage by: Host Process for Windows Services ,Detected,No Action Required

I've looked at the details and it says in all cases that the program is used by millions of users, mature and trusted. Is that enough to confirm that these alerts are nothing to worry about?

Thank you.
