I am using Norton Internet Security 18.7.0.13 on Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium Service Pack 1.
I continually get the High CPU Usage warning for audiodg.exe.
The Norton Help for "Excluding programs from appearing in performance alerts" suggests the following:
- In the Norton Internet Security main window, click Settings.
- In the Settings window, click Miscellaneous Settings.
- Under Performance Monitoring, in the Program Exclusions row, click Configure.
- In the Program Exclusions window, click Add.
- In the Select a program dialog box, browse to the executable file for the program that you want to add.
- Click Open.
- In the Program Exclusions window, click OK.
When I click Add and browse to C:\Windows\System32, audiodg.exe is not listed. However, it does show up in Windows Explorer. I am logged in as an administrator. The file is not hidden and the Administrators group has Read and Read & Execute permissions.
