Issue abstract: Google Chrome is persistently redirecting to Yahoo, despite the fact I have tried Norton Power Eraser, and followed other instructions. I’ve run a scan, and Norton power eraser. I followed other steps online, without much success. I know this will teach me the hard way not to download dodgy software, but sometimes, the links look incredibly legit, or are intentionally misleading. Help is appreciated in advance.

Ya know…when you start a new Community. Ya can keep the old Community live with locked threads so that we can point to old Community messages. At least so I can pull my stuff from the old Community.
Hi BJM. Thanks so much for replying, I did run Malwarebytes, but i’ll follow the links you suggested as well, because Malwarebytes is usually pretty reliable. I’ll look up chrome sync, and resetting chrome, although i am pretty sure I did reset chrome. I’ll let you know how i went. Thank you!
