Phone support

Called in because for some reason , your product switched off the Dark Web Monitoring. I did not change any settings.

So i had to wait 35 min, then the guy says he supports Apple products and sends me to Windows team.  I ask if there will be a wait. He says no wait, direct connect to the other support person.  That was a lie. I am on hold again and now have waited an hour. that is awful support.   Trying to figure out why my Dark web monitoring is off now. i cannot turn it back on.  Strange.  He acted like i changed the settings. i did not.

It is a system issue on the Norton side. They are working on it. It is not on my side. Just not working properly.

The support associates that i held for hours with did not know about it. Later in the day, that person knew about it. Wasted so much time on this and it was a Norton issue. Maddening.

For your Dark Web monitoring not working, are you signed into your Norton account from the Norton 360 product interface?

 

We can hope that your complaints are reaching upper management and changes can be made. Sounds very frustrating.

Follow up on this.  So I had to call in again.  This time the person said he could support Windows 10.  But he couldnt figure out my problem as to why the Dark Web Monitoring is off.  I need someone to help me!  He was useless.  I asked for a manager, but he only offered a call back. i dont want that because many times Norton has not called me back. Then he said he would transfer me elsewhere. i asked if it would be a direct transfer. he said yes.  It is not. I am hearing the annoying music again. He lied. Stop lying to customers!!!!!!!!!! Awful. Be honest.
