Ping problem

Hello all

I have  two computers connected to router.

One is XP and  it has the NIS software ,the other  one is  new one and does not have the NIS.

I  try to ping from the  WIN 7 PC to the XP PC  but  it failed, only when I disabled the firewall it works.

Pinging  from the XP to the win 7 pass with no problem  .

Do I have define a rule  and if yes any help ? or there is other problem  ?

Hello,

The XP pc run NIS ver 16.8.3.6

The  WIM 7 Pc does not any NIS
