Hi,
Recently we have prolonged our use of Norton Secured seal (Order number: 816438385) but when I navigate to https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=tweakbit.com I can see that our website is shown as a threat.
3 weeks ago we deleted all those files from our server, but they are still showing up in the results. It looks like the SafeWeb database has not been updated or reindexed since the first scan. Is there something that can be done about that? The detected files are no longer on our server as of 3 weeks ago.
Your FAQ states:
"Symantec SSL customers benefit from automatic presence of Seal-in-Search for domains which Symantec has vetted. The Norton Secured seal shows up next to secured domain search results in Google, Yahoo! and Bing, enabled for millions of users of Norton 360, Norton Internet Security, Norton SafeWeb, and Symantec SafeSite. Norton SafeWeb Lite is available for FREE at http://safeweb.norton.com "
Also your FAQ states:
"If you feel that your Web site has been given a rating by Norton Safe Web that is inaccurate, you can easily request a re-evaluation following these steps:
-
Sign in to your Norton Safe Web account.
-
On the "site dispute" tab, click the "Re-evaluate my site" link next to your Web site name. You can raise your concerns and issues regarding content on your Web site here.
The "site dispute" tab lists any threats detected on your site. You must remove these threats from your site.We process re-evaluation requests in the order in which they are received. As soon as our re-evaluation is complete, we will send you a notification. You can revisit the Norton Safe Web Site report to view the updated rating for your Web site."
Every day all I can see is this message "the re-evaluation is in progress...". This status is already for more than 6 months without changing.
I would really appreciate it if you could help us declassify our website status.
Thanks in advance!
