I recently upgraded from Norton Twenty-oh-five or Twenty-oh-six to Norton SystemWorks Twenty-oh-nine, also known as SystemWorks 12. I also have the anti-virus and Live Update Products. I don't know if my 12 is Basic, Standard, or Premier.
This product is now doing some automatic checking that has the effect of wiping out my cookies. Unlike some computer users, I consider cookies to be a positive part of the Internet experience, saving preferences (I HATE Google Instant, for instance, and I always, Alway, ALWAYS want 100 Google returns on a page), and even saving signon information. But now I have to re-do everything every few days.
Can someone please take me step-by-step through wherever I need to make changes to stop this automatic cookie deletion?

I realize that I am a beggar who shouldn't be a chooser, but I've found that the most helpful responses I get in online forums are ones written in standard mixed case (not all lower case), with as few abbreviations as possible, and no emoticons at the end of each sentence. And if the word "because" needs to be in there, it's spelled "because"!
