Please stop showing ads through apps

I have been using Norton and Kaspersky virus programs for years. The new interface design of your virus program is more reassuring, although not as reassuring as Kaspersky. It is very annoying that you are marketing other applications through the virus program.

Even though I just bought but I can’t use “Norton Ultimate Utilities” app because of the constant advertising of “Norton Driver Updates” on the MAIN screen. I got fed up and uninstalled the app a few days ago. On the other hand, you own the CCleaner brand. There are driver and performance enhancement tools there too. “Norton Ultimate Utilities” is a money trap.

Your goal should be to protect us, not to make us suffer through advertising to get money out of our pockets. If this continues, I will have to go back to Kaspersky, even though I have security concerns because of Russia tie.

I hope you don’t reduce our trust in you any further.

I recently uninstalled Kaspersky and installed Norton 360 Deluxe. I am now getting hammered with ads from various companies that I can’t seem to block. Didn’t have that problem before. Any help would be appreciated.

ads? = ads when browsing?
Does Kaspersky have an ad blocker?

Same here, please stop advertising through the programm interface of Norton itself - its annoying and leaves a bad taste, for a programm thats actually made to protect you from unwanted Ads etc.

Since the German forum was shut down, it has become much more difficult to get up-to-date information. Firefox’s translation software is very poor.

It should also be mentioned that the overall functionality - especially of Norton Utilities Ultimate - is more complex! The Norton programs used to run quietly in the background. Now you often get several messages a day about errors and numerous purchase offers. And FALSE ERROR MESSAGES. For example, supposedly faulty Intel drivers are listed. However, if you go to the Intel review page, everything is fine. I have been a Norton user for many years and don’t think that’s right at all! The Utilities program also deletes passwords almost every day. This means that the user has more work to do than before… unbearable…!
