I often get a Norton pop-up saying "This product has expired and can no longer be used", even though I have a subsciption with 65 days remaining.
Norton still seems to be working OK, so hopefully this is no more than a nuisance, but can anyone please advise why it's happening, and whether it can be stopped?
I've got Norton Internet Security version 19.2.0.10, on a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium.

I've got Norton Internet Security version 19.2.0.10, on a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium.
As per lmacri suggestion: after checking the subscription days, click the small arrow at the left hand side of that Norton Internet Security and then copy the Product Key and try to activate the Norton Internet Security installed in your computer.
I used the Support --> Subscription option, and a window appeared, confirming that I have 65 days left on the subscription. (However, NIS was already saying this anyway. As I said, NIS seems to be working OK on my PC, and my subscription status has always been OK - the only problem is the annoying pop-up.)
Subash - I'm not sure what you mean, as I can't see an arrow on the left side of the main NIS screen.
This is small comfort, but other users have reported the same problem. See 4directions' thread here titled Product Has Expired.
If Subash can't come up with a better solution, it might be faster to contact Norton Customer Support via Live Chat. They can go into your account while you're online with them and see if something needs to be reset on their end.
Just curious, but are you using a 90-day trial version of NIS or is this a paid version with a 1-year subscription?

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2 * NIS 2011 v. 18.6.0.29 * IE 9.0 * Firefox 8.0.0 HP Pavilion dv6835ca, Intel Core2Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83 GHz, 3.0 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
I'm using a paid version with a 1-year subscription.
Although I said that NIS is working OK ... I have noticed a few times, in the last few days, Live Update does not automatically search for updates after I've started up the PC and connected to the internet - so I have to launch NIS and select Live Update. .
I'm also not sure whether Pulse Updates are working. A few minutes ago, I clicked on Live Update (for the second time since NIS was launched), and it found some updates again - surely Pulse Updates should have already found them.
In the Settings section, Automatic Live Update and Pulse Updates are 'on'.
Perhaps these issues are connected? If not, I can start a new query for the Live Update / Pulse Updates issue.
Having said that: Pulse Updates did an automatic update a minute ago, so it probably is OK ... just not sure about the inital update after starting up the PC and connecting to the internet.
If you check the Norton tasks window (Performance | Norton Tasks) the Last Run time in the bottom panel should tell you the last time the idletime background Norton tasks - including LiveUpdate - completed successfully. Details about each LiveUpdate session are logged in the security history - click the History link (in NIS 2012 I think it's in Advanced | Computer Protection), choose LiveUpdate from the dropdown list, double-click any item to see the details, and then expand the Total Updates Applied section to see if any of your updates are failing.
Try re-booting and running manual LiveUpdates until NIS is only finding pulse updates - this may take a few cycles of re-booting and updating to get all the product updates delivered to your computer. If your computer is still behaving oddly after that I would try a One Click Support session (Support | Get Support) and see if NIS can find an auto-fix.
Some users experienced problems after the NIS 2012 product update from v. 19.1.1.3 to v. 19.2.0.10 (see Rogerror's thread here titled 90 Heuristic Threats Identified on a Full Scan for one example). If NIS 2012 still doesn't seem to be running correctly and Norton Customer Support can't explain why you're getting the "Product Expired" pop-ups it might be faster just to perform a clean re-install of NIS 2012 using the Norton Removal Tool by following the step-by-step instructions posted here.

I checked the recent updates, and only one of them had failed to complete: Norton Activity Map Data, at 18.21 on Dec 19. Another of these updates completed successfully at 21.12 that day. (All the times I'm mentioning are UK times.)
I rebooted the PC at 16.45 today, and ran Live Update manually. Since then, Pulse Update has been running every 5 minutes, and Live Update has been running every hour - as I understand it, this is normal behaviour.
Perhaps the reason why Live Update didn't run automatically when I restarted the PC, is that it had already run within the last hour? If so, then there is probably no other issue except for the annoying pop-up which sometimes appears.
Also, the pop-up started appearing a month or two ago, before I replaced NIS 2011 with NIS 2012, so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the NIS 2012 installation.
The automatic updater will only update antivirus definitions that come out during the day. Pulse updates just update the antivirus defintions every 5 to 15 minutes, some times it does take a little longer for them to appear.
