I recently came across an issue with my PC an hour ago.
I was browsing my usual forum and randomly got a notification from Norton 360 saying a virus was blocked by auto-protect.
It said that the required action was to Restart my PC, so I did..
The PC then booted into Windows, gave me a "splash screen" notifying me that Symantec is removing a virus, and then rebooted and now I am fine.
Every time I reboot my PC, I get this prompt:
How do I get rid of this, and is my system still infected?
I ran a full system scan before I even restarted my computer and it detected the virus and it scanned over 1,000,000 files, but now it will only scan up to ~350,000 and scans all of my System32.
I'm just stuck and looking for guidance on fixing this issue. I'm too scared to use my PC now.
