I normally backup all my files using Ghost onto an external drive. My Hard Drive crashed recently and I have since replaced the damaged drive and re-installed the O/S and Ghost 15. But I cannot recover my files from the external drive as Norton doesn't recognise that there is a recovery point on it (I assume this info is stored on the old hard drive). Can you help me recover my files?
Many thanks for your prompt reply. I initially couldn't find it under the tasks pull down as suggested but found the 'RestorePointBrowser' via the Windows 'Start' menu. Without people like you and your help... people like me would be completely lost. A simple solution has enabled me to restore my files. Thanks
You should also be able to just double click the v2i or iv2i file to open Recovery Point Browser. You can also right click a v2i or iv2i file and mount the image as a drive letter.
