I just installed the parental controls for my sons computer. When I go to my Pc to view any alerts (through the console which takes me to the website) the timer is way off from the actual time. Is there a way to set the time so that it reflects actual time. It showed him on his PC all night even though he went to bed at 1100.

Hi ms40sr
You should click on the little icon that looks like a small green tree and then you can attach your picture file.
Hopefully it loads.
Notice that my Pc time is 4:38PM and that Norton logged it as 10:38PM. This is just after i tried to log into a porn site so that it would flag it. It worked but the time is wrong.
Hi mb40sr,
Thanks for the screen shot. Please go to Start/Control Panel/Date and Time/Time Zone to check if you have the correct Time Zone set up.
Also, please have the option "Automatically synchronize with an internet time server" selected and click OK to save it
Thanks,
Katie
The time zone was set correctly and yes it was set to synchronized.
Hi mb40sr,
Thanks for the update. I see the screen snap is from the Alerts page. How about the time stamp for the activity at Activity -> Web? Did it get recorded with correct time or the same as it on the Alerts page?
Thanks,
Katie
No it has the same time as the alerts page.
Now Safety Minder is disabled. I think I'll uninstall this program and try something else. I think Norton 360 is a good program and if they didn't do a program right, such as "Norton Online Family", I would hope they would just let us know instead of giving people a false sense of security or the run around. I've been reading several post similar to mine and they have not received any help either. Thanks for trying to help. I will still come here just in case they find a fix.
Hi mb40sr,
We are trying to reproduce the issue, but have no luck so far. While we are continuing to work on the issue, could you uninstall/reinstall the program to see if it helps?
Thanks,
Katie
