Norton is sending me annoying popup messages (bottom right of computer) pestering me to install their Norton Secure Browser. I'm not interested. I already know what browser I like using. Is there anyway to stop these unwanted advertisements?

Agree-it is a good idea. I am just annoyed as to why a major security provider would resort to this when there are some that choose not to have the popups. In fact, I read a few from people that are not tech savvy that thought it could not possibly be Norton and sign of a hack?? Norton, please consider this. Again, you have the options to elect and/or purchase within the program. Attached is the pop up I got this morning. Is this not the biggest ad popup you ever have received and from a paid program?
Maybe there's a popup blocker software that could be used to block unwanted and annoying Norton advertisements.
Nice idea, except ad blockers only work in web browsers.

I agree-I have been with Norton since 2000. Starting 2024, I am moving on. This pop up issue tends to keep coming back even if paying consumers have taken all the actions to avoid the ads. In fact, these pop up images are even bigger/broader popups although already added in the app as an option. I was advised you are safe with MS Virus suite and will learn how to stick with it. This is so uncool. The popup resembles the same behavior you would see if you did not purchase and clicking the X for 'no more' expires after some months anyway.
i dont recall the exact date but seems to be in last month or so approx. either that last build update or one prior, when i got that message ( sure many others did at same time) it opened up in edge browser ( not your screen shot but simular) seemed to be a download page for the browser itself or the process to get it downloaded and installed ( take your pick)
i just closed the page, seemed to recall the pop up you mentioned also and just closed that and havent seen either since

Every time I click the X the annoying popup, unwanted advertisement, from Norton disappears. Then, the next day the same annoying popup ad is back. What I want is to permanently block Norton's annoying and unwanted advertisements. I will never use Norton's Security Browser and forcing me to deal with the unwanted and annoying popup advertisements will make it far less likely I was EVER use Norton's Security Browser.

Have you tried the X and then don't show this message anymore?
