Previous Norton overwritten by new Norton but still being told it will expire in 4 weeks

My previous Norton software provided by Plusnet was due to expire. I renewed my Plusnet Broadband and took advantage of their free Norton package for Fibre. I should have removed the original Norton package but did not. I downloaded the new Norton software and assumed it had removed or overwritten the previous software because as far as I can tell, there is only one in action. I am getting regular emails from Norton warning me that updates are due to stop. How can I let Norton know that the old package has been removed?

Does the old “package” have a license key and is that license registered with your Norton account?

I imagine email reminders will stop after expiry date.
