Pricing

Is it me or the pricing of NS appears funny $79.99 / 89.99 for 1 year and $159.99 /179.99 so that it actually doesn't make sense to subscribe to 2 yrs?

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the Norton Community. Please see the following thread as it discusses this same topic.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.

Allen

None of us knows why .... but we are mere techno-peons and pricing is marketing ....

You may find even cheaper if you go out to retail stores and check the rebates .... including Updaters Rebates ..... but beware of eBAY unless the seller is well known since we are getting reports here of invalid or used keys being sold .....

There is one plus in buying a renewal -- you can apply the activation at any time and it adds to the unexpired period whereas if you buy a new KEY it wipes out the unexpired time ..... but we've had feedback that those nice folk at Norton CUstomer Support will sometimes add the time back on if you ask them nicley by OnLine CHAT ..... <s>

Thanks!!

You're welcome -- you kinow where to find us if you need help on anything ....

There are no stupid questions; only the ones you didin't ask ....

Hi Randy,

Thanks for your interest.

The Pricing model details are not yet available. We're working on it.

Keep checking the Norton Zone board for new announcements.

Hi Tallrandal,

Stay tuned. We'll be providing upgrade and pricing options soon. Are you interested in more storage at this time?

Thanks!

Aman

See that the NortonZone pricing has been released. I have to say that I am pretty disapointed in the plans.

20GB = 49.91/1 year

50GB = 79.99/1 year

100GB 119.99/1 year

I usually use around 80GB for my cloud storage. So dropbox is

100GB = 99/1 year

200GB = 199/1 year

Yes that is expensive, but it is still cheaper than NortonZone. I have to say that I was excited to switch to NZ, but now I may not due to the pricing. Any plans to change this?

Hello ,

SkyDrive -->  25 Gb for 0$

Google Music --> 20.000 songs ( approximatively 150 Gb ) for 0$

I love Norton , but not enough to pay for that :smileymad:

Regards ,

Hi Tallrandal,

No updates as of yet, but we'll keep you feedback in mind as we grow and expand our service. What are you using Dropbox for? Would pricing be the only reason you would switch?

I definitely appreciate the honest feedback around pricing.

Cheers,

Aman
