My Canon printer, which has been working for three years, and just went offline yesterday, as I noticed.
Is there anything to do with my newly active Norton or Windows10 updated on my desktop a few days ago?
Please help.

Went to VPN and selected Split tunnel; selected Add but could not add because the option was available.

Reset the Norton firewall settings
Firewall Reset returns the Smart Firewall to its default state and removes custom firewall rules or trust control settings that you created. If you think Firewall is causing connectivity issues, reset firewall to its default state.
Firewall Reset resets the Norton firewall settings. It does not turn on or turn off the Windows firewall.
Reset firewall rules to the default state
Start Norton.

If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

In the Norton main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, click Firewall.

On the General Settings tab, in the Firewall Reset row, click Reset to remove custom Traffic rules, program rules, or other settings that you configured.

The firewall is disabled for the few seconds that are required to reset it.

How do I reset Norton's firewall? after that, I will try your suggestion and hope it will work. Thank you
Hello. I would first reset your Norton firewall and reboot your computer. Re-check for the issue still being present. If it is, update your printer drivers/software and restart / re-check for the issue still present. You should also manually run live updates on your Norton install until none are available. Restart the computer and re-check.
