This has happened to me before, but it was so long ago I don't remember how I fixed it.
I cloned a disk from my laptop to an enclosure. Everything went fine except now when I try to boot from my original disk, I get a screen that requires me to select my operating system before it will boot. After I select the operating system (Vista), it boots up as normal. Any suggestions?
By the way, the disk that I cloned didn't work either, but that didn't surprise me. For some reason, when I put it in the computer, the computer doesn't recognize it -- the computer doesn't think there is a hard drive installed. I was having this problem with it for a few days so I tried to go the "clone in an enclosure" route since the enclosure recognized the disk without a problem.
