Problem Extending Time

My daughter used up her alotted amount of time this moring. When I came home this evening she asked to get on again for an hour. I logged on under her profile. After it was done coming up I clicked on the icon, selected extend time, typed email address and password and the validation process began and never completed. As a matter of fact the computer stayed on that screen and a control/alt/delete didn't even work. After waiting about 5 minutes I hit the power button and the Task Manager finally popped up. After ending tasks the computer continued to shutdown. This occured three consecutive time. During the online family countdown screen popped up telling me how many seconds I had left.

Shouldn't I have been able to extend the day even though her time expired earlier in the day? Also, how do I view/edit my Family On Line email account and password?

Thanks,

Jim

As for my issue with changing the password; my Norton 3660 account PW/login is different from my family on-line account. When I loaded Safety Minder I didn't realize I could use my Norton account. So I ended up creating a email and PW just for it. It was after I set it up when I found out I could have used my Norton 360 profile. When I go to the link you sent it takes me to my Norton 360 profile. I can't use that PW and login to get into the Safety Minder site.

Bagger,

I tried again to reproduce it using XP SP3 and IE version 8.0.6001 as you have, but was not able to reproduce the issue.  Besides Norton 360, do you have any other Antivirus product installed on the PC that’s being monitored?

Thanks,

Katie

No other AV programs and daughter was able to log on today. I think her time has expired for the day. I’m going to log her in and see if I can extend it today.

I’m shocked…she still had 36 minutes. Will make sure she uses all the time tomorrow.
