cannot log out of app, where is a button to log off?

Why do you feel the need to log out of your Norton Account in the app?
Looking through the current app, I see no way to sign out. The current version may be coded so that you need to be logged in to keep the app activated.
It’s a multiple device version and I do not want to stay logged in on a kid’s mobile phone.
It was possible to log out a few months ago when I installed this on other devices but I do not see this option anymore…
What are you concerned about your kid seeing/accessing?
I am concerned regarding the access to all kinds of settings while being logged in
They would only be able to access the settings for the 360 app on that phone. Any changes they make would not affect your phone. They would not be able to get into your Norton Account. I just tried the Manage Account link in the 360 app and was taken to a login page. They would need your Norton Account Password to get into your Account to change anything.
What settings are you concerned about?
Is the kid’s phone one you have bought for them? If they are younger, you might want to look into the Norton Family Parental Controls feature included with many Norton 360 plans.

I also need to sign off of the Android app because I changed my login email address and the app is stuck on the old address. I’d really like it to reflect and connect to the updated account. Please advise!

fwiw ~ works for me:
Force stop → Uninstall → Install → Sign in (not Activate) → Allow Permissions & Set Up → Restart → Run Smart Scan → review Settings to my preference → confirm device is listed with My Devices https://my.norton.com/extspa/devices
