Hello. I have NIS 2009 and have a couple problems. First off, after I download something, I always use Norton to scan it. However, most of the time, Norton does nothing. After I right click on the file and choose Scan Now, I get the hourglass icon for about 5 seconds and then nothing. No scan and the hourglass goes back to my orignal arrow. My second problem is with email. When I check my email, or send an email, sometimes it goes through, but most of the time it gets stuck during Norton's scan. Lastly, when I restart my computer, I always have to end task ccSvcHst. This is AV related, right? Having related all this, let me say that I constantly update Norton and have the auto update on. Also, there is not much on the computer. I was having the above problems and formatted thinking maybe it was just time to format. I am still having these problems even after fresh installs. If there are any updates or settings I need to do, please let me know.
