Problem with NToolbar not compatible with firefox 9

I followed the instructions by Tony Weiss for Firefox 9 Toolbar support when I go to the add-ons manager it says  "Norton Toolbar is incompatible with Firefox 9.0.1.  Norton Toolbar version is 2011.7.3.6.  I just realize I need the updated version 2011.7.4.3.  I have used live update to check for updates and it says everthing is up to date.  How can I get this update?

Please follow instructions I provided in this post:

Please post back with results.

Hi Can76,

Could you run live update after restarting your computer, please run liveupdate repeatedly  until it shows " your Norton product has latest updates" and restart your computer whenever it requires.

Once you got the latest version(2011.7.4.3 )  Go to FF->Tools->Addons->Enable Norton toolbar addons and restart FF

After performing above steps still if you face the problem, follow the instructions which is mentioned by Yank in previous post

Thanks,

Senthil

Thanks for the information on how to get around the problem. Can I update to FF 10 now?

Hi Mumboui,

Welcome to Norton Community,

FF10 is in beta stage, don't install FF10 until it released officially.

Please see other's suggestions here

Thanks,

Senthil
