When I had to reinstall my Norton internet security it came attached with Trojan.Clicker.Agent.afr and also Killav-152. These do not appear to be listed in the threats anywhere here. I am looking for advise as to who or where I should report this, as I have had to unistall twice because of this and reinstall and the problem still seems to be there.

I have got Norton internet security but the Trojans have been spotted by spyware terminator on full virus scan using Clam AV

Where did you get Norton from?

There seems to be on the net that Clam AV reports some files in Norton as Killav-152 (http://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?p=7519) This is the first time I hear about Trojan.Clicker.Agent.afr.

It is not to uncommon that different virusprograms report eachother as different viruses.

I would recommend that you try out some of the different online scans and see if they find the same results

Iā€™m not sure I believe ClamAv over Symantec

I have had the same problem with killav-152 when I installed Norton 2008. This file is always related with norton folder like uninstall and setup

Additionally ClaV has detected symlctnk.dll as a Trojan thread.

Ad-Aware has detected virus infections as well inside Norton files.

I would recommend reporting it to https://submit.symantec.com/retail.

Also, if you think your system is infected, I would recommend that you follow the steps listed in the How To Troubleshoot a Suspected Malware Infection announcement. Thanks!

To be sure, the best thing you can do is submitting the files as Tony suggested

May I sugest you do a full system scan using Kaspersky Online Scan, if the virus/s is there it should find it, give you the name of the virus/s and the location. Kaspersky Scan

Let us know the results. We can then do a cross reference match using Virus Total to see if Symantec has definitions for the virus/s.

I have done this in the past and sumbmiited the files to Norton (didn't got a single reply), but they did release definition for a couple of the infections shorty after I submitted the files.

What kind of Antivirus program are you using for scanning the Norton folders?
