I am using a very old computer (purchased in 2002) which has an AMD Athlon(TM) XP1800+ CPU, and 1.5 GB RAM, running Windows XP Home SP3 fully up to date via Windows Update.
Because of this I am running Norton Internet Security 2012 (19.9.1.14)
Recently I have found that every hour or so the process ccsvchst.exe (for local user) starts to run using 99% CPU usage.
This runs for about 15 mins during which time the computer is obviously very slow and unresponsive.
How do I find out what the process ccsvchst.exe is doing during this time and can I stop it happening as it is becoming a bit of a pain.
Any help would be appreciated.
