I've also had the exact same issues described by others on this thread. I had Norton 2010 and everything worked fine. Immediately after upgrading to 2011 last week, the problems started. When downloading via uTorrent, everything quickly bogs down. The more I try to download, the quicker it slows down. I've found a handful of posts on the net by others with the exact same issue and yet no one has a solution. Obviously, it's in the settings which is why some have problems and some do not. The most common suggestion is to add "exclusions". I am not especially computer savvy so I actually had no idea what that meant. I've spent days looking through Norton's settings trying to work it out. I found an area called 'Anti-Virus and SONAR Exclusions". I added all of the folders I use to download in the section called "Items to Exclude from Auto-protect and SONAR Detection" and it had no effect. Is there more to it than that?

 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please be as specific as you can.

Thanks for all your help with the logs and the dump. The SymTDI team has identified the issue and filed a defect. The timeline for the defect  may be in the next release. We will keep you updated when it is released.
