Hello, hopefully someone can assist me in resolving my problem. I recently installed Norton Inernet Security on my new Mac Book Air, everything was fine for two weeks. This morning I received the following message:
Settings background application is not running
The settings background application is not running. You should restart your computer. If restarting your computer does not fix the error, please try re-installing Norton Firewall.
I have tried restarting my Mac, uninstalling using the Symantec Uninstaller, and reinstalling ( 3 times so far) and still get the same errors. LIve update does not work, Antivirus, ( Norton AntiVirus could not open its preferences. Please try restarting your computer. If this error persists, please try re-installing Norton AntiVirus). Firewall, (The settings background application is not running. You should restart your computer. If restarting your computer does not fix the error, please try re-installing Norton Firewall).
Any help in resolving would be greatly appreciated
