I'm out of patience. I have spent nearly 40 hours now (NOT AN EXAGGERATION) because of norton internet security not working with my windows 8.1
first i spent 16 hours with the msi guys who made my laptop, looking through it trying to figure out why it wouldnt bloody let me connect to League of legends.... we werent sure it was norton but every time I tried to access the program rules after starting up a game, Norton CRASHED, by which i mean it went COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE! only thing i could do after that was restart my computer. i had to factory restart because of this TWICE (another 8-10 hours) then, 3 weeks later the on computer norton expired so i had to re-register. how surprising, a few days later THE PROBLEM CAME BACK! and i had to spend another 3-4 hours, now on the phone with the norton help people!!! then, after uninstalling and reinstalling norton, 7 days later IT HAPPENED AGAIN! this time i got to speak to the level 2 help people, after spending well over an hour on the level 1 support ppl AGAIN! after more than an hour with the level 2 person, he changed some files and it seemed to work, BUT NOW IT CLAIMS SONAR ISNT WORKING BECAUSE THE INSTALATION (WHICH THE LEVEL 2 SUPPORT PERSON DID FOR ME) IS CORRUPTED AND CANT BE FIXED!!!!!!!! and it wants me to uninstall and reinstal norton...AGAIN!
im just done, been a customer for over a decade but i just cant do this anymore this is ridiculous. Im moving on to a new antivirus. I'm so upset i made this forum account for the sole purpose of making this post lol.
