I received an update notification today for Microsoft Sysinternal's Process Explorer v. 16.0 from FileHippo and noticed in the change log here that Process Explorer can now be configured to automatically integrate with VirusTotal. I gave it a try (the settings can be enabled at Options | VirusTotal.com) and here's a sample of the type of detection rate data you can retrieve now about processes running on your system:
Hint:
If you use the FileHippo Update Checker and want to be notified when an update is available for Process Explorer (which is not an installed executable and can be run from any location on your hard drive), create a folder at C:\Program Files\Process Explorer and then unzip ProcessExplorer.zip in this folder. That way the file version of the unzipped procexp.exe file will be checked each time the FileHippo Update Checker runs.
