Hi,
just keep using the old license, and on the last days (when there's only 1-2 days remaining) click on the Renew link, and you can put your new key in.
If you write it in earlier, the remaining days from the old license will be lost.
CR41,
Works like a charm, PapauZ's instructions -- I just did it and on the Renew screen that comes up there's a box for you to use if you have a KEY alrleady .....
You'll get an email from Norton confirming the extension .......
If it was for 3 PCs then on any others all you may have to do is Support / Subscription Status but when it's a new KEY, if you get expired then just enter the KEY for them -- I'm not quite sure how that works yet since I've only done the machine I'm on now.
With a new key, on the first machine you have to enter the new key, email address and password of your Norton account to register the new key in your Norton account.
On the next machines, you only have to enter the new key.
Support/Subscription status will not work, as the machine does not know the key yet! This works only with subscription extension through Norton's site, as the key stays the same then.
Hugo
Thanks -- I wasn't sure.
Thanks Guys, I have managed to get the subscription added to my existing account, by going onto the Norton live chat and explaining to the agent that I have a new key code, but want to add to my existing account.
This was achieved by entering the key code into the renewals box, and when this was activated, the agent then gave me another code to re-entrer in to the same box.
This then transferred the new subscription to my existing account, so nothing has been lost.
Thanks for letting us know it is all sorted out ....
