You can find your Norton product key in a few common places, depending on how you purchased the software. The primary locations are your Norton account online, the purchase confirmation email, or on the product packaging if you bought a physical copy.

Common Locations for Your Product Key

  • Your Norton Account (Online): If you’ve previously set up your Norton product, the key is stored in your online account. This is the easiest way to retrieve it if you’ve lost other records.
    1. Go to the official My Norton website and sign in with your email address and password.
    2. Hover over your profile icon in the top-right corner and select My Subscriptions.
    3. Your 25-character product key will be displayed next to your active subscription details.
  • Purchase Confirmation Email: If you purchased the product online from Norton or a third-party retailer, the product key or instructions to get it will be in the confirmation email you received after the purchase. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail folders if you don’t see it in your inbox.
  • Product Packaging (Retail Store Purchase): If you bought a physical box or card from a local retail store, the product key will be printed on a sticker, a card inside the box, or on the back of the card.
  • Pre-installed on a Device: If Norton came pre-installed on your computer, the manufacturer may have included the key on an activation card in the packaging or stored it in a text file in the Program Files > Norton directory.
