Just moving over from BitDefender and McAfee.
I need to block an application from accessing the Internet.
It is my understanding that Automatic Program Control should be OFF (which I have done). Then I go to Smart Firewall / Progam Control and enter the application EXE. However when I run the application, apparently it is launching sub components who also want to access the Internet, which in turn causes numerous and recurring prompts with an option to "Block this Instance"... but no option to "Block Perminantly".
Is there any way to specify that I want to BLOCK a specific Program and all Components called from that Parent Program?
In BitDefender and McAfee this is done simply by setting the Parent application to BLOCK... set it to Block and you're done.
