I’ve used Norton 360’s VPN for a while. Use it for certain sites that don’t like Proton VPN, and for financial accounts.
Without getting into the technical weeds, Norton VPN w/ Norton 360 plays well with Proton VPN. I’ve read in the past how Norton 360 VPN installs that allows this, but it has been a while. I’ve also gone through uninstalling VPNs, many of which don’t uninstall well, which caused issues.
In short, I’m considering dropping Norton 360 (particularly after reading about the new version) and just using Windows firewall / AV. But, I’d like to use Norton standalone VPN … IF … it installs like the Norton VPN w/ 360 and plays well with Proton VPN.
Can anybody answer the question if Norton standalone VPN technically installs like the 360 vpn?
… I could find my old notes to get in the technical weeds if I have too, but am hoping someone knows the answer.
