Question about security history

I was wondering if someone else is accessing my files. I recently looked in my history section (there's a lot I don't understand). I'm curious about what "shared means." I am the only one using my internet access. Is one person still considered a network? From what I know, people can access files on other computers if the status of the network is shared. I didn't have any peripherals turned on...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. I looked in the Network details area and it says that it's protected. I also turned off the automatic print and file sharing.

Maybe I shouldn't look in the security history anymore--it only makes me paranoid. I looked because I was curious what everything was.

The Security History can sometimes be confusing and some of the entries could be worded or explained better.

Be assured that Norton will display eye catching alerts or notices if any serious events occur.
