Quicken won't update

After I installed the latest Norton 360 (20.2.0.19), I am not longer able to update my Quicken 2011 Deluxe Release 8 (20.1.8.6).  When I run the update, I get a dialog box that says "One Step Update Progress", but it never comes back and I have to kill the application.  I have turned monitoring on in the firewall, and it generates many requests that are allowed through.  I've also tried turning off the Norton Firewall, but that doesn't fix it.  I also tried turning off Norton Identity Safe, but that doesn't help.  I also tried turning off the Internet explore options described here: https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Quicken/m-p/382466#M40218

 

The only thing that works for me is to uninstall Norton 360.  Please help.

 

Try going into Windows Control Panel and Programs. Find the Quicken program and see if there is an option to repair the installation. 

 

As you disabled every function in Norton that could affect the updates, there seems to be something else we need to find.
