Hi there.
I have previously removed Mcafee along with using the Mcafee removal tool. When I previously had Mcafee my homepage on google chrome would flicker at the top of the tab as if it was reloading or hadn't fully loaded, extremely annoying but not the reason I removed Mcafee. After Norton had been installed this seemed to have stopped, magic!!! Until recently when this annoyance returned. Its a small thing but really irritating when you're trying to work as it distracts your train of thought. I decided to run the Mcafee removal tool again today for some reason, prob cause I blamed Mcafees software for conflicting with Chrome and causing the issue, even though I doubt thats the case now, had to blame somebody!!! The question is, Will running the Mcafee removal tool conflict or remove any part of my Norton. I know this is prob a bit of a stupid question but I'd rather be safe than sorry in the long run.
P.S. If anyone knows what causes chrome to do this and how to stop it if poss I'd be truely grateful.....and less annoyed!!!
