I'm currently running Norton 360 ver. 3.5.2.11 on a Vista 32-bit PC and also have installed it on my daughter's laptop. I'm planning to upgrade my PC with an SSD and Win7 64-bit. Since I'm moving to 64-bit, and installing the OS on the SSD, I need to do a full install. After that I have to re-install all of my apps from my old drives to the SSD. When I re-install Norton 360 how do I ensure that the re-install does not count as a 3rd install of Norton 360 since I'm putting it back on my original PC. Do I have to somehow de-activate my current Vista install before I do the re-install to Win7? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Since you are changing the drive to a Solid State Drive then this will be seen by the activation process as a different PC. Go ahead with the install (you will have 15 days) and then contact customer support here

Explain your circumstances and they will correct things for you and allow the activation.
Hi Phenom40,
No need to worry about license, you can go ahead with using Norton 360 on the same computer without any problem (even after formatting/reinstalling Windows Operating System/replacing harddrive etc in case of Windows crash or harddrive failure). Make sure that you have the Product Key of Norton 360 ready for activation, you can get it from your Norton Account. You can then download the installation file again from any one of these links (Norton 360 v3 Standard or Norton 360 v3 Premier) according to the Norton 360 edition you had.
If, and Only If you face any issues with activation/installation on any other computer, then only you need to contact the Customer Services. They will assist you further to activation/installation Norton 360 on the computer.
