Re-install Norton 360?

I installed a PC with Win11. It has already a version of norton. called "Norton 360 for gamers" i normally use norton premium.

Do i just log in on the "Norton 360 for gamers" version. Or do i manually uninstall it and install Norton 360 myself?

thx, i will do when needed. But i have still 5 devices protected...so all good.

Thanks for posting back.

Did you have a multi device license? If it got changed, and you need to protect more devices, you can contact Norton Support for help in upgrading your subscription.   www.norton.com/contactcs   If using the chat function, as soon as you can enter any information, enter "agent please". That will get you out of the chat bot and connected to a human.

Is the 360 for Gamers a trial version?

yes, i think it was a 60-day trial

Anyway i uninstalled and downloaded again from my account. apparently i have the deluxe version. I was confused thinking i had premium becaus premium these days has 5 devices deluxe only 1. Not sure they changed.... The pricing is getting worse every year....

Is the 360 for Gamers a trial version? If so, you could get your Premium product key from your Norton Account and enter it into your Gamer's trial.  Open the classic 360 interface that you access from the new My Norton interface by clicking on Open beside Device Security. Then click on Help > Enter Product Key at the bottom right. That will activate the Premium subscription on your device. Then run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again. Restarting, not shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled.   If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature..
