It is getting there
I do have a question taht you may be able to answer
I use NAV2008 with a Windows Vist Home premium 32. I have my NAV on all the time as my primary AV,Anti-spyware
But I do run the Windows defender anti spyware quick scan nightly and then once a month or so SpyBot. Now the Windows defender and Spybot are not on all the time, as in real time protection. I use my NAV as real time protection
But does it cause problems that I leave on my NAV2008 when I run a quick scan using the other products? As I say, these two other products are not my real time constant on protection.
Hello,
It should be fine even if you leave NAV 2008 running. Those products are not antiviruses, so it should be okay to run them. Besides, you are performing an "on-demand" scan; you can have as many on-demand scanners as you want, provided that they will not conflict with each other.
I have an antivirus, antispyware, and a behavior blocker all running in real-time. I also have three additional on-demand scanners--so far, I have not had any problems.
Hope this helps.
