Rebackup whole file set

I'm again having problems with backups not being stored in external hard drive.  I have watched each time and it seemed

like it was going in fine.  Is there a way that I may rebackup my files, photos and downloads just to be safe?  Thanks!

Hi Tyagi13.

You can always set up a second (or third or whatever) backup set under "Manage Backup Sets"-"Create new backup set" and run that with whatever data you want to whatever backup site you want.  Does that help?

However I am puzzled by your backups not being stored on the external drive.  Can you tell us a bit more about the problem as the issue (whatever it is) may also effect the new backup set.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks for your thoughts, I wish I understood why some of the backups don't seem to be going into the external hard drive.

I have it set up to notify me if there is a problem with the connections.  It was a bit of a shock when I got a virus and was

going to have to do a recovery, to discover before I did that, that the program, instead of staying with my backup instructions

to use the external hard drive, had instead created another storage place back into the computer that couldn't be saved.

So I lost 45% of my backups including a lot of historical research which can't be replaced.  I've stayed with Norton 360, but

have it now set up so that I only do backups when I am watching it like a hawk and check the listing of files backuped each

time.  I had written about this is another thread years ago when it happened.

So with the holiday weekend, I'm hoping to try to a full new backup set on both computers.  I appreciate your help.

Also as I've talked about in another thread, I'm still struggled with getting my laptop fully registered.  And noticed that

my 2 GB of storage online has become 1 GB of storage.  I truly hope that I haven't lost any of my online backup as that

will make me really grumpy.    Theresa
