Symantic AntiVirus 2006

Full Version: 10.2.0.276

It is required to get on the University's network. They had us install it at the begining of the fall semester.

Ok, that's an ols one. You are not able to upgrade to 2008?

I am running Win. Vista Home Premium 32bit. and am having problems with Symantec reboot reminders. The little pop-up keeps on saying that I need to reboot to “coplete remediation tasks” I have rebooted multiple times, but no matter what I do, the thing keeps coming up every 3 minutes or so. Incredibly annoying. Help please.

We have to have a client security agent installed that verifies we have Symantec. I don’t know that it will accept the newer version as the client that we use is itself from 2006. I also really don’t want to pay any money. I’m pretty much broke as it is.

Why not ask the IT professionals of your University who oblige you to use thye 2006 version?

If you would like to discuss Symantec enterprise products (like Symantec AntiVirus) Please visit https://forums.symantec.com/. The Norton forums are specifically for consumer product discussion. I apologize for this inconvenience.

What Norton version is it exactly what you are running?
