Recent History.mcf file

I've exported my recent history files to my desktop as a .mcf file.  I just noticed, it looked like when I clicked on clear history, it cleared all of the entries in all of the categories instead of just recent history.  If I would like to view any information in that old .mcf file, is there a way to change the file to a regular .doc file?

Hi PC_confused,

 

The export history operations allows you to save the history as a .txt file instead of .mcf which would allow you to read it. I don't know of a way to convert .mcf to another format.

 

You could export your current NIS history temporarily, then import the saved one back in, resave as a .txt file and then re-import the current history.
